Zadok Academy

Who Are We?
Our desire is to nurture an atmosphere for children to encounter Jesus and grow in the knowledge of Him.
Our heart is to cultivate a place where His presence can rest and remain, and where our children can thrive in every aspect of their development and education.
Our prayer is that every child who walks through the doors will awaken to Jesus love and all He has placed inside of them.
Why Zadok?
When the children of Israel went astray, the Zadokites chose a counterculture lifestyle. Instead of yielding to the pressures around them, they approached Him and drew close. Their nearness to Him kept them steady.
Just as the Zadokites, we believe our children will boldly choose Him and freely accept the invitation of defying distance and drawing near.
As a result, their lives spent in proximity to the King will produce the power to, when the time comes, turn the world upside down.
Ezekiel 44:15-16

Although we are independent from King's House, we are an integral part of King's House ministries. Our vision for teaching and equipping students flows out of King's House Prayer Room and Chruch.
We are a spiritual family built upon the foundation of prayer and worship on the earth as it is in heaven.King's House started in 2006 as a simple prayer meeting on Monday nights. Founders Rui and Stacy Porfirio felt the need to open their home, where the prayer meetings would often last into the early hours of the morning. In 2012 the Lord began to speak in profound ways to the Porfirio family and their team of intercessors. The Lord wanted to turn the family room revival into a developed missions base of night and day prayer and worship. Since accepting the call, a band of believers have embraced the burning desire of Psalm 132. Intercessors, singers, and musicians have gathered from the metroplex in McKinney to give Jesus the reward of His suffering, and unceasing adoration. May the fire on our altar never burn out!
